Yomi Onifade has more than 23 years of experience as a global strategist and transformation leader in the Nigerian Insurance industry.
Yomi worked as the Group Executive Director, Operations and Strategy at Tangerine Africa Group before joining Allianz Nigeria Insurance Ltd as Managing Director/CEO in 2022. Before then, he worked at Axa Mansard for over 16 years, serving as Executive Director, Technical and Chief Operations Officer.
He began his career at UNIC Insurance Plc as an Underwriting and Claims Officer, and subsequently transferred to Standard Alliance Insurance and First Assurance Limited.
Yomi has extensive experience in business development, transformation and has garnered expertise across leading industries such as the Manufacturing, Telecommunication & Financial Services sectors through strategic partnerships and innovative risk management solutions.
Yomi earned his Bachelor’s degree in Insurance from the University of Lagos, and has successfully completed several senior executive programs and trainings at the London and Lagos Business Schools.
